About

Dietmar Breyer studied computer science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn. The graduate computer scientist began his career in 1984 at IBM Deutschland GmbH.

Since 1990, he has successfully filled various management positions (sales, project services, consulting) at software companies, also internationally. The software solutions offered were always benefit-oriented products requiring extensive explanation, so that business-related consultancy of interested parties and customers was the essential success factor.

As Managing Director or Chairman of the Board with overall responsibility for companies such as FileNet GmbH, Kleindienst Datentechnik AG and Beta Systems Software AG, he played a key role in determining their strategic direction. With entrepreneurial responsibility for up to 750 employees and EUR 100 million in sales, he was able to gain extensive experience in the areas of operations, services, finance and administration in addition to his focus on sales management. He successfully managed and swiftly completed major projects such as M&A activities, IPO, reorganization & restructuring of business units, ISO certification or post-merger integration.
